Group Riding Practicals

Group Riding Practicals are 1.5 hour group lessons consisting of exercises to improve you & your horse’s confidence riding in group situations. If you are nervous in a busy warm-up arena at a horse show or a group trail ride with friends causes butterflies in your stomach, this series is just for you! It is for your horse if he gets anxious or aggressive in close quarters with other horses, if he rushes or crowds on trail rides, if he gets worried about other horses coming towards him or up behind him, if he can’t stand still while other horses move around him, or if he is herd bound. And it’s also for you if you enjoy riding with friends and fun exercises as a group! Every session will be different and will include riding in pairs, passing exercises, games, riding to music, and safety drills all designed to boost your confidence riding with others! Riders of every level welcome, English and Western.
